Babysitting is VERY rewarding!

Babysitting can be very rewarding! Here I am helping Isaac eat his yogart! At least until mom reminded Isaac not to share his spoon with "the dog"! Well, anyway, it was fun while it lasted!!

Retired from the dogshows, enlisted as a babysitter

Now that I am grown up - I don't compete in dogshows anymore. I tried obedience classes, but listening and obeying isn't really my thing, so I found something more interesting and rewarding to do - babysitting!!! When I talk about rewarding - I mean REALLY rewarding! I score cookies, cheese, spaghetti and lots other things I am not supposed to have!!! I also am a pillow when he gets sleepy!!

Dog shows!

When I was a little golden, I used to compete in dog shows. It's really wonderful, you get wonderful treats just for trotting around and looking pretty! We are now training for another kind of show - OBEDIENCE - it's fun, too - except for the DOWN STAY! I keep telling mom - don't look at me if you don't want me to come!!!

Snow angels, swimming and squeaky toys

There are three things I love the most, they are making doggie snow angels - rolling over and over in the snow - with a look of pure joy on my face, water (including splashing and swimming) and a great squeaky toy. I discovered water when I was very little - about 9 weeks old. My mom and dad have a BIG tub in their bathroom, and whenever mom filed it up - in I would dive! She had to drag me out every time! I love splashing in puddles, ponds and even my water dish. Squeaky toys are so fun! I get to pretend I am fierce, growl and tear - until I have "killed" it! Sometimes, I even eat some of them, before mom takes it away!

My sister - Gwen

I have a sister that also lives in Colorado. We flew out to Colorado togother, and have stayed in touch. she is my most favorite dog in the world, although we don't see each other often. When we get together, we go crazy. GOLDENS GONE WILD!!! I will attach some of our pictures. She is blonder than me, but I still love her!!!

Gold-Rush Life of the Party - Just call me Hailey!

Hi! In case you don't know me well, I am a four year old golden retriever and I live in Colorado. This is a vacation picture, something called a dog show where I get lotsof cookies, and lots of people think I am beautiful. I now am going to school to do another kind of show, I don't like it as much. I get told what to do, and the down-stay is the WORST! Don't look at me if you don't want me to come!!! I really want my mom to be happy, but just laying there is such a DRAG!! I have things to do and friends to meet and play with, cookies to con people out of!!! COME ON!
